THE NATURE OF ARTHUR BROWN – Thursday 5 November at 7.30pm. (Doors 7pm)

The CAT Club presents
THE NATURE OF ARTHUR BROWN – The Inside Story.

In collaboration with Dan Smith, the critically acclaimed ‘Nature’ stands as a profound and poetic culmination of the god of hellfire’s artistic journey.

After six decades on all the stages of the world, boundary‑breaking performances, pioneering and innovating rock music, fate and life have brought the iconic singer back to where he came from – both as a creative artist and in his personal geography.

In conversation with Jason Barnard and accompanied by a visual feast, including a live performance, the new album and the life that brought it about will be revealed . . .

“I honestly don’t know what I expected, but I know that my life and my world are both the better for Arthur Brown, and this truly wonderful album, being in it.” 10/10 SonicAbuse.

“Arthur Brown – The God Of Hellfire remains a force of nature and the new album stands as another wonderful chapter in a life spent trying, through chaos, colour, mayhem and music, to make the world that little bit better.” MetalTalk

“Nature finds Arthur Brown still on top form at 84 years old. The album’s themes – the consequences of our separation from nature – are manifold and far-reaching. Described as his “pinnacle” album, It does feel like his most heartfelt and impassioned.” Mojo, one of the albums of the year.
