SANDRA’S WEDDING new album launch. Thursday 10th August – 7.30pm

The CAT Club is delighted to be helping our good friends from the excellent Sandra’s Wedding with their new album launch.

Sandra’s Wedding will releasing their brand new album The Hopeful Boy Replacement Service on Friday 14th July and the official launch will take place in the Pigeon Loft at The Robin Hood, Pontefract.

The upcoming record sees the Goole based band, once praised by BBC 6 Music DJ and Elbow frontman Guy Garvey for “having a band name worse than my own,” treading on familiar sonic territory with the astute lyricism of lead singer and wordsmith Joe Hodgson set against the trademark jangle of Rickenbacker 12 String guitars, while also exploring new ground on this varied and occasionally eclectic twelve track release.
Recorded at Young Thugs Studio in York and featuring contributions from world renowned composer Gavin Bryars (Father John Misty) amongst other musical guests who can play instruments or sing harmonies that Joe, Jonny and Luke can’t, The Hopeful Boy Replacement Service will be available on CD, Vinyl and all the usual digital streaming platforms. 

The band are excited to play live dates through August and the late summer to promote and play the songs from the record.
